The Desert Artists’ League was founded in 1957 by a group of artist friends. We are a talented group of people who work in a variety of media: watercolor, acrylic, oil, encaustic, ceramics, pastel, mixed media and fiber arts. We love to share camaraderie, enthusiasm, tips and techniques. Over the years we have learned from well-known artists such as Brenda Swenson, Dale Laitenen, Lian Zhen, Hamil Ma, Richard McKinley, and others. We have participated in shows, tours, and support each other.
