This vibrant celebration of freedom, culture, and community spirit will feature music, free food from local vendors like Mauvette’s Caribbean Kitchen and Dr. May’s Thai Kitchen, merchandise vendors, and activities for children. Local artisans and community organizations are encouraged to participate, contributing to an atmosphere of connection and celebration. Attendees are invited to bring lawn chairs, blankets, water, and sunscreen to fully enjoy the festivities. Additionally, start your day with a Southeast Ohio Black History Tour led by experts from the Mount Zion Black Cultural Center and the Tablertown People of Color Museum (registration required).
