Join us for an exciting opportunity to explore your creativity with two engaging craft programs: "Get Hooked on Crochet!" and "Intro to Metals 1: Jewelry & Small Objects."
In "Get Hooked on Crochet!", beginners can learn the essentials of crochet in a welcoming environment led by an experienced librarian. Struggling with patterns or holding your hook? No question is too silly! This program is open to crocheters of all levels, allowing experts to join as well to work on their projects and share knowledge. Supplies will be available, but participants should bring their own tools. Registration is required.
Meanwhile, "Intro to Metals 1: Jewelry & Small Objects" at Worcester Center for Crafts offers a six-week course for those interested in learning metalworking techniques. Beginner students will explore essential methods like sawing, soldering, and more, while developing skills through instructor-guided projects. Youth ages 14-17 are welcome with a parent or guardian.
Both programs are designed to cultivate skills and creativity in a supportive community. Don’t miss out on these unique crafting experiences!
