Join us for the Arboretum’s third annual Apple Fest, a family-friendly celebration featuring a wide array of apple-themed activities. Experience the University of Minnesota and Horticultural Research Center’s legacy of apple research with engaging activities such as apple bingo and trivia, orchard tours, and apple tasting. Enjoy live music by Traveled Ground, delightful concessions from Rootstock, and the iconic Farm at the Arb, along with visits to the popular AppleHouse (1.5 miles from the main Arboretum gate). A convenient shuttle service will connect three locations, allowing visitors to participate in all apple-related activities and shop for fresh apples, pies, squash, and more. Don’t miss the scavenger hunt, shopping at the Gift & Garden Store in the Oswald Visitor Center, StoryTime in the Andersen Horticultural Library, and charming scarecrow displays throughout the gardens. Apple Fest is included with general daily admission, which is free for members and children aged 15 and under, while non-members enjoy entry for $20-$25.
