You're invited to a mural unveiling hosted by the City of Waco on Saturday, September 27 at the South Waco Community Center, 2815 Speight Ave. Commissioned by the Cesar Chavez Neighborhood Association and created by renowned artist Jesus Rivera, the mural honors the neighborhood's Hispanic heritage and celebrates more than 30 influential Mexican and Chicano leaders who have shaped Texas history.
