Grab your favorite teddy bear and join us for a beary special morning at Rockwoods! This fun, nature-themed program is designed for children ages 2–5 and their caregivers to have fun outdoors and learn about our black bear neighbors. We’ll start with a story about bears, then learn a few fun facts about the black bears that live right here in Missouri. Kids will get to follow pretend bear tracks, build their own bear den to crawl inside and "hibernate," and make a bear-themed craft to take home. After the activities, we’ll wrap up with a cozy teddy bear picnic. Be sure to bring a blanket and your own snacks so you and your bear can enjoy a treat together outdoors! Please register each child and caregiver individually. This program is for ages 2-5, but younger or older siblings of participants are welcome to join.
