Gather to sow, grow and harvest together! Activities may include planting, watering, mulching and harvesting, depending on the needs of the garden each week. Please bring a water bottle and wear closed toe shoes. Community Gardening sessions will be cancelled in the event of lightning, heavy rain or high heat index. Directions to the Garden location: Eastside GardenLocated off of East State Street behind Holiday Inn Express and beside the Eastside Solar Array Project. At the traffic light (between CVS Pharmacy and Athens City Pool) turn onto E Park Dr and follow the road around the solar panels. Pull into the parking lot in front of the solar array. Eastside Garden is to the left of the solar array and not visible from the parking lot. Follow the footpath along the fence to Eastside Garden.
