Today, Springboro is nationally recognized as a Historic Underground Railroad Site—home to more documented safe houses than any other community in Ohio. Join the Springboro Area Historical Society for a guided walking tour through historic downtown Springboro, where many of these significant sites still stand. Learn about the courageous individuals who risked everything to help enslaved people seek freedom, and discover the powerful stories that shaped our region's legacy. Tour begins at the Springboro Area Museum, located at 110 South Main Street. Tickets are transferrable but nonrefundable.
