Join the Franklin County Genealogy Research Group for open discussions on various research techniques to uncover your family history. Meetings are held at the Franklin County Library in Rocky Mount, in Community Meeting Room #2 on the second floor, on the first Wednesday of each month from 10 AM to 12 PM (note: there are no meetings in August or January).
On October 1st, we will feature author and speaker Bernie Jones, who will discuss her book, "Fathers of Conscience: Mixed-Race Inheritance in the Antebellum South," with a focus on researching slavery. This event is FREE and open to all genealogy enthusiasts, both members and non-members, without the need for pre-registration.
