Join Josh Casstevens at Reeves Music for a series of enriching adult-level music classes suitable for all skill levels. The offerings include "Music Theory for Any Instrument," which helps participants understand the foundations of their favorite songs, ideal for seasoned and beginner musicians alike. This class runs for 12 weeks over a 14-week period on Tuesdays from 6:45 - 7:45 pm. Alongside this, two additional guitar-focused courses are available: "Pentatonic Scales for Intermediate/Advanced Guitar" from 8:00 - 9:00 pm and "Intro to the CAGED System" from 5:30 - 6:30 pm, both designed for intermediate to advanced guitar players.
Additionally, Tommy Jackson will lead a songwriting course focused on essential techniques and lyricism, held at a separate location on Tuesdays from 5:30 - 6:30 pm. All classes will have breaks during the week of 10/15 and Thanksgiving week. Participants are encouraged to reach out with accessibility requests or general questions at info@reevesmusic.org. Payment plans and scholarships are available, and tax-deductible donations can help sponsor other students. Required materials for music theory include a notebook or pencil and a recording device, while guitar classes require an acoustic or electric guitar with an amp. Full refunds minus processing fees are available up to one week before classes begin.
