Red Wing Arts is pleased to host free artmaking opportunities for community members to learn, experiment with, and experience different techniques and media. Community Saturdays are free and open to all ages to drop in and stay as your schedule allows. All materials are provided. PROJECT DESCRIPTIONJoin us for a hands-on, drop-in clay hand-building experience led by Kelly Connole! Whether you're new to working with clay or just want to explore your creativity in a relaxed setting, this is a great opportunity to get your hands messy and try something new. Participants will have access to basic tools, guidance, and plenty of inspiration to create their own small clay piece using simple hand-building techniques no wheel or experience necessary. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
