Red Wing Arts Plein Air - Artist Quick PaintWatch artists complete a painting from start to finish during the fast-paced event in and around the Depot, Farmers Market and Levee Park, capturing the essence of light and shadow in their artwork. Experience the live creation of artwork, interact with the artists, and immerse yourself in the artistic energy of the community. Paintings will be available for purchase fresh-off-the-easel. This event is free and open to all. 9-11 am: Artist Quick Paint Watch artists complete a painting from start to finish during the fast-paced event near the Depot and Levee Park. Awards at 12 pm. 9-11 am: Free Kids Paint - Try your hand at painting plein air around the Depot. For kids of all ages - and kids at heart!9-11 am: In celebration of their 150th Anniversary, the St. James Hotel will be holding a pie-eating contest at the Depot. 12 pm: Best Quick Paint will be awarded by judge, Nina Weiss and Peoples Choice award will be announced.
