He began his career as a photojournalist in his home state of Wisconsin and Oregon and later moved into corporate and commercial photography. For 22 years he ran his own commerical photography business in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area. He grew up in Wisconsin Rapids, WI – the heart of Wisconsin’s cranberry country where 60% of the U.S. crop is grown each year. Retired since 2016, “Cranberries Revealed” was his swan song. Much to his delight, the book won the two top awards from the Midwest Independent Publishing Association in 2015 for best coffee table book and best recipe book of the year. Although he spends less time behind the camera these days, Wayne enjoys playing guitar, bicycling, trout fishing and traveling across North America with his wife in their little motorhome. He and his wife Anne currently live in Plymouth, MN.
