Join us for **Intro to Bluegrass Banjo with John Boulding**, a 12-week course designed for adults and older teens to learn the fundamentals of bluegrass banjo technique. Classes are held on Mondays from 5:15 to 6:15 PM over 14 weeks, with breaks during the week of October 15 and Thanksgiving week. Required materials include a 5-string banjo, finger picks, a tuner, and a recording device. No prior experience is necessary, and dedicated younger students may participate with permission. Additionally, the **Elkin JAM (Junior Appalachian Musicians)** program, led by Meredith Wilkerson, invites 4th to 8th graders to explore traditional mountain music with options for banjo, guitar, fiddle, or mandolin.
