The Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce Welcome Santa Christmas Parade and Go Ottawa's kickoff of Once Upon a Main Street Storybook Trail and tree lighting will take place on Thursday, December 4, 2025. The parade will start at 6:15 p.m. with the tree lighting ceremony to take place at 7:00 p.m. Following the tree lighting ceremony there will be festivities taking place throughout downtown Ottawa.

Romick Railway train rides after tree lighting ceremony until 8:15 p.m. on Oak Street.
