Join us and learn how to improve wildlife habitat in your woods! What: This free workshop will feature a short indoor talk and a guided hike focused on woodland restoration and management. See the incredible results of 5 years worth of work on private property. Learn about management practices like timber stand improvement, prescribed fire, and invasive species control. Lunch will be provided, and you will have the opportunity to chat with local MDC Staff. Workshop will be held rain or shine, so please wear appropriate footwear, clothing, bug spray, etc. Some lawn chairs will be provided, but bring your own if possible.
