Women’s One Day Chorus: Labour by Paris Poloma Date: July 26th, 2025 2-5 PM Location: Portland, Maine Join us for our next One Day Chorus! This is a women’s chorus, and we will be singing Labour by Paris Poloma. Please make sure to register directly on mainemusiccollective.com so we know where to send your music and have all registered in one place! Whether you’re a shower singer, a lifelong choir member, or just curious—you’re welcome here. No auditions, no pressure. Just real humans coming together to sing for the joy of it. You don’t need experience—just a little courage and a love for music. After you register, you'll receive the music and practice tracks for each part. On the big day, you'll meet everyone that you’ll be singing with, rehearse for a couple of hours, then walk through the space and sing together, then head home. It’s that easy! We ask everyone to spend some time getting familiar with their part before the big day. That way, when we come together in July, we can dive right into the heart of the music—blending, shaping, and bringing it to life as a group. The more confident we are in our parts, the more space we’ll have to explore dynamics, emotion, and that magical sense of singing with each other—not just alongside each other. PLEASE NOTE: Both video and audio recording will be taking place at these performances.
