From the owner of a home bakery, learn an uncomplicated way to make your own sourdough bread. This class will cover each step, including how to maintain a sourdough starter, mix bread dough, recognize the different fermentation stages, shape a boule, and bake it. Baking tools will be discussed, and different breads will be available for sampling, including some baked without any special equipment. A jar of sourdough starter will be provided to each participant to bring home.
Instructor: Stephanie Durand has been living in Hanover since 2010 with her family for which she cooks and bakes real food from scratch.
