The New Leviathan Oriental Fox-Trot Orchestra is a New Orleans-based ensemble dedicated to reviving and performing early 20th-century jazz, ragtime, and dance music with authenticity and flair. Founded in 1972, the group specializes in period arrangements, vintage instruments, and theatrical presentation, recreating the sound and spirit of the 1910s–1930s jazz era. Celebrated for their lively performances, recordings, and dedication to historical accuracy, the orchestra brings the golden age of New Orleans music to modern audiences while preserving the city’s rich musical heritage.
