Join us for a vibrant evening celebrating LGBTQ identity and creativity! Start the night with a pre-event reception for Jonathan P. Higgins's presentation, “Black. Fat. Femme.,” at Queermunity from 6-6:50 PM, where you can enjoy refreshments, mingle with fellow attendees, and meet the author before the main event at Magers & Quinn at 7 PM. Don’t forget to share your RSVP confirmation at the café for a complimentary house beverage with entrée purchase! Afterwards, immerse yourself in “Paint Me Queer: A Flag Painting Social” at 6:30 PM, also at Queermunity. For just $15, you'll be able to unleash your artistic spirit as you create your own flag, representing your pride, roots, or unique identity. Supplies are provided, and all skill levels are welcome! This event is hosted by Elevate Twin Cities and Minnesota Lesbians, Sapphics, and Queers of Color, fostering an inclusive space for creativity, connection, and community care.
