Join us on Thursdays for the 22nd Anniversary of Songs on the Lawn, presented by Xcel Energy! Take the opportunity to network, enjoy local food, and listen to great music with your co-workers, friends, and family at Civic Center Plaza in downtown Mankato. These summer concerts are free of charge and parking is available in the Cherry Street and City Center ramps at no cost. Joyann Parker is a powerhouse vocalist, songwriter, and performer whose soulful blend of blues, gospel, jazz, and rock captivates audiences nationwide. Hailing from a small town in Wisconsin, Joyann brings raw emotion, authenticity, and magnetic stage presence to every performance—whether delivering a tender ballad or a high-energy guitar solo. Her thoughtful lyrics explore love, resilience, and personal growth, earning her a loyal and growing fanbase. Backed by the talented Joyann Parker Band—Mark Lamoine (guitar), Tim Wick (keys), Scott Graves (horns/percussion), Chris Bates (bass), and Bill Golden (drums)—Joyann delivers unforgettable live shows that showcase the transformative power of music.
