The Armstrong Air & Space Museum is proud to welcome Vickie Kloeris for two special presentations on NASA Nutrition. Kloeris recently retired after a 34-year career with NASA, where she managed food systems for both the Shuttle and the International Space Station. Over the course of her career, she received numerous honors, including NASA’s Distinguished Service Medal, two Exceptional Service Medals, and the Johnson Space Center Director’s Commendation Award. She also served as President of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) and was recognized as an Outstanding Alumni by Texas A&M University, where she earned her degrees in Microbiology and Food Science & Technology. Presentations will be held in the STEM Inspiration Center at 11:00 AM and 1:30 PM, each followed by a meet-and-greet with Kloeris. No RSVP is required; participation is included with general museum admission.
