The annual community Juneteenth Celebration will be Thursday, 6/19 from 3-6PM on College Green. Join us for music, free food from Mauvette’s Caribbean Kitchen, Dr. May’s Thai Kitchen, and Rhythm & Food, merchandise vendors, and activities for children. Feel free to bring lawn chairs and blankets, water, and sunscreen, so you can hang out and enjoy the music!
In addition to the festival, we invite you to start your day by joining local experts from the Mount Zion Black Cultural Center and the Tablertown People of Color Museum for a Southeast Ohio Black History Tour! (Registration required for tours, visit www.ohio.edu/juneteenth to register.)
