Good Works is having all-day Open Houses on our three properties on July 4th! Come and celebrate Independence Day with us during the day!
Join us for a visit and tour, meet our staff and interns, and learn more about what we do and how we operate!
Our locations are:
Good Works Timothy House: 91 Central Avenue, Athens (10am-4pm)
Our home for people without homes since 1984! Good Works has provided shelter since 1981 and moved to this facility in 1984.
Good Works Sign of HOPE: 100 Central Avenue, Athens (10am-4pm)
Our new facility to serve those whom the Timothy House has not been able to serve due to disability or because they have service animals! We also have a laundromat ministry here called Loads of HOPE!
Good Works Luhrig Road Property: 7857 Luhrig Road (10am-7:30pm)
Our 35-acre property which houses our Administrative Offices, our Neighbors Helping Neighbors initiative, Transformation Station, a retreat cabin, trails, and more!
Join us for Friday Night Life from 4:30-7:30 after the Open Houses! Friday Night Life is our community meal which happens 50 weeks out of the year and during the summer is located on our Luhrig Road Property!
