Want to learn how to hand build with clay but unsure where to start? This beginner class is perfect for you! Vance will go over the basics of hand-building. You will learn slab work, face sculpting, slip and scoring. We will use these skills to make a hanging wall sun. After the class, we will allow your suns to completely dry and then fire them in the kiln. You will need to come back at a future time to glaze your piece. This event is perfect for anyone who wants to learn for the first time, or anyone who wants to improve their skills. This class will take place on Friday, June 20th from 1-4 pm.
