Athens’ favorite week just got even better! Athens Ohio Roller Derby brings the heat to Brew Week with the ultimate double header experience. Join us Saturday, July 12th for Brew Week Brawl, featuring both powerhouse home teams in back-to-back action at Athens Community Center.
The excitement kicks off at 2 PM when the Appalachian Hell Betties face off against the BOOMington Blockheads, followed by the Black Diamond Betties taking on the Prairieland Punishers. It’s double the derby, double the energy, and double the community celebration.
“I joined the league just after I completed AORD’s Learn to Skate program in fall of 2024,” said Sarah “Erma Gerd” Adkins, AORD vice president. “Derby is a tough, quick sport and so fun to learn and play! Come on, it’s Brew Week! Come watch your Betties!”
Doors open at 1 PM. Tickets are just $12 (online or at the door), kids 10 and under FREE, with FREE parking. It’s the perfect family-friendly way to experience Brew Week.
