Get your paddle on! Join the Minnesota Discovery Center’s experienced tour guides as they take you into a watery world unique to the Iron Range. Learn about the Glen Pit Lake’s geology and limnology (AKA: lake science) while getting in touch with the serene side of a recreational paddle. The tour is 1.5 hours long with the first half-hour including a basic safety and skills presentation. You can bring your own kayak, paddle, and life jacket, or you can rent all three from MDC. Life jackets are required!
