July 9 | 1 – 3 p.m. | Included with admission to the Indiana History Center Join us for a monthly taste of history as we highlight the food culture that has shaped and continues to shape the Heartland. Food is a universal connector; it connects us, reminds us of our past, and introduces us to new cultures. The dishes we eat are flavored by the communities and cultures that call Indiana home. Take a break and enjoy the stories and smells of the dishes that make up our food heritage. Each month will feature a historical, family, or community recipe as presenters share stories of their food culture. Copies of the recipes will be provided for guests to recreate at home. Made possible with generous support from the Allen Whitehill Clowes Charitable Foundation For more information: indianahistory.org/.../flavors-of-the-heartland.../
