Veteran jazz musicians Rick Hirsch and Bob Hart will be joined by two locally-grown young guns, Adam Hallacher and Huck Tritsch. This should be a wonderful evening of cross-generational jazz, excellent musical dialogue, and good fun for all. Adam Hallacher is a fantastic trumpeter attending the University of Miamis Frost School of Music. He has been playing with Bob and Rick since he was a precocious student at State High. He continues to amaze us every time he comes home on break! Drummer Huck Tritsch is a jazz student at the outstanding Boyer College of Music at Temple University. This Penns Valley product first sat in with Rick and Bob shortly before heading off to Temple. Hucks broad musical influences give his drumming a lot of character. Bassist Bob Hart has toured and recorded with Kat Edmondson, Debbie Harry, Van Dyke Parks, and many others. On the local scene hes a member of the Zeropoint Big Band, Pure Cane Sugar, and is musical director of Orchestra Mi Amor. Rick Hirsch is an award-winning composer, arranger, saxophonist and educator. He has performed with Tito Puente, the Temptations, Max Roach, and the Four Tops. His music has been performed worldwide by the Birdland Big Band, the Yellowjackets, the Penn State Blue Band, and countless others.
