Join us for a series of complementary care sessions designed specifically for individuals with a current or previous cancer diagnosis, along with their loved ones.
The first session, "Music, Sound and Well-being," led by Certified Therapeutic Harpist Margaret Stephens, features a guided meditation using the soothing sounds of the harp and other instruments. This class focuses on reducing stress and anxiety while promoting relaxation through the therapeutic use of music and sound.
In addition, "Movement and Exercise," led by Hugh Mellert, MPH, CHES, offers a gentle, beginner-level group class that encompasses movement, stretching, and strength exercises suitable for all fitness levels.
Both classes are offered free of charge, thanks to the generosity of the Friends of Dartmouth Cancer Center. To register, please contact the Complementary Care Program at cancersupport@hitchcock.org or call (603) 650-7751. All are welcome, regardless of location or previous care received.
