Step back in time at Blue Rock Nature Preserve. Once a strip mine, this land was important for the blue clay found in the soil which was used in nearby manufacturing. The timeline of the area, nearby facilities that used the clay, and change of ownership will be covered. Dress appropriately for the weather.
