"Tree Detectives" - A Nature Exploration for Younger Girl Scouts Date: Sunday, June 22 Time: 10:00 AM- 11:30 AM Location: Crown Hill Arboretum: 3402 Blvd. Place, Indpls, IN 46208 Calling all Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Girl Scouts-become Tree Detectives for the day! Girls will join a guided nature walk through the Crown Hill Arboretum led by expert from the Arboretum team. Along the way, they'll discover how to identify trees by their leaves, bark, and seeds, and learn about invasive species in a fun and engaging way. Expect a scavenger hunt and hands-on exploration in one of Indy's most beautiful natural spaces. This program is designed to support badge work and inspire a lifelong love of nature! Girl cost- $12 Girls who participate will complete the Girl Scout Tree Promise and receive the Tree Promise patch! Adult Cost- $10 includes tour Please do not bring adults, siblings, or other Girl Scouts who are not registered. Each troop is responsible for providing enough adults to meet the Safety Activity Checkpoint ratio. Those registering individually should also be accompanied by a registered adult. GSCI Safety Checkpoints Leaders and adults attending are responsible for the supervision of their girls at all times. The facilitator(s) might need your help; please be engaged in the event.
