Join us at the Granville Center for the Arts for our first-ever Granville Pumpkin Fest—a free, family-friendly celebration happening right in the heart of downtown Granville. There will be live music on Broadway, art unfolding before your eyes, delicious pumpkin-inspired fall treats, hands-on crafts, a 14-foot pumpkin tower, and a pumpkin carving competition that's bound to bring out the best (and silliest!) creativity in town. Festival Highlights: -Live on Broadway Concert: Outdoor performance by the folk-pop duo The Castros. -Live (and Spooky) Painting Demo: Watercolor artist Megen Leigh creates an eerie masterpiece live. -Pumpkin Personality Painting Station: Free baby pumpkins to decorate, courtesy of Bird's Haven Farms. -Pumpkin Crafting with Granville Parents Co-op Preschool: Pumpkin crafting fun for the kiddos. -Pretzel Shop Trailer: Special fall flavors: pumpkin spice with cream cheese frosting dip + apple pie with caramel dip. -Thorn & Thread Embroidery Booth: Shop a special fall collection—including the limited edition embroidered pumpkin sweater. -Pumpkin Carving Competition: Bring your best carved pumpkin and compete for pumpkin-tastic prizes! (Details below ) -14-Foot Pumpkin Tower: Snap the ultimate fall photo beside this towering display. Pumpkin Carving Competition Instructions: Think your jack-o'-lantern is prize-worthy? Here's how to join: -Carve your pumpkin before the event: Pumpkins must be carved before the event. (No carving will take place on site.) -Drop-Off & Registration: Bring your finished pumpkin to the Arts Center between 2:45 – 3:15 pm. -Judging: From 3:15 – 4:15 pm, our judges will review all entries. -Winner Announced: At 4:30 pm, the Pumpkin Carving Champion will be crowned! Pumpkin Carving Competition is free to enter and open to all ages and skill levels. Winners will take home pumpkin-tastic prizes, including the coveted limited edition embroidered pumpkin sweater from Thorn & Thread Embroidery.
