Over the lunch hour, enjoy engaging talks from Conservancy staff, guest experts and community partners as we explore topics that connect to our mission of preserving natural resources, celebrating the botanical world and inspiring environmental stewardship. Topic: Sustainability Conservation at Stowe Presented by Stowe Ecological Stewardship Manager, Janet Manuel, and Stowe Conservation Ecologist, Cassy Hallman. Did you know that Stowe now has a green team? Conservation Ecologist Cassy Hallman and Ecological Stewardship Manager Janet Manuel lead an array of sustainability and conservation initiatives, from prairie restoration to citizen science projects. Join us over lunch to learn how Stowe is working across its 380 acres to implement sustainable practices and to increase biodiversity, how you can get involved with this work and how you might apply similar strategies at your property. Topics will include natural resources management, recycling, gardening for pollinators, seed banking and more. Guests may choose from two ticket options: Program-Only Ticket: includes admission to the presentation (5 members, 7 non-members) Program Lunch Ticket*: includes admission to the presentation along with a salad, sandwich, or wrap with chips and a drink from Big Leaf Cafe (15 members, 20 non-members) *While we do our best, not all dietary needs can be accommodated.
