This is an in-person only event, which takes place at Charis Books and More. It is free to attend and no registration is required. Please read the in-person event guidelines at the bottom of this page to be sure you can participate in the event. Join us for Intimate F[r]agments: A Smutty Queer Open Mic for trans and queer people, hosted by L’or from NYC. This open mic is space for your smuttiest poetry, short fiction, and lil zines! Bring us your recountings of that one night stand you can't stop thinking about, the T4T erotica of our collective dreams, that smutty fanfiction that hasn't made it to AO3 yet, the sex that got better with time, masturbation tales, kinky explorations, and Subaru quickies - we want it all! We will have a sign-up sheet with 3-5 minute slots for readers and performers available at the front at 6:00pm. The event is free and open to all people, especially to those who have no income or low income, but we encourage and appreciate a donation of $5-20 in support of the work of Charis Circle, our programming non-profit. Charis Circle's mission is to foster sustainable feminist communities, work for social justice, and encourage the expression of diverse and marginalized voices. Donate in-person or via our website: www.chariscircle.org/donate. In-person event guidelines: - All attendees must wear a face mask during the event. - We will begin seating people at 6:00PM EST.
