Bull Market is a punk band from Billings, Montana that fully embraces the investment firm theme (calling their fans "investors" or new members "interns", etc) while also creating music that sounds like a mad scream coming from people who are trapped inside a corporate machine. They're loud, intense, and primal in most cases, but they can also access the melodic contours of '90s style alt-rock quite readily, adding a little spark to their work. They are not reluctant to use the element of sludge in their music, which gives their songs more weight and a somber tone. Otherwise, there is a dark buoyancy to their music that hides between the lines of dissonance and abrasive rage, in ways that may be somewhat surprising to the listener. Moving Party also performing!
