In late June, goats from Regenerative Ruminants will be fenced in at Russell Square to graze on invasive species. Come learn about the process and meet the goats! Join Parks & Recreation for a special Russell Square Pop-Up Play at the field near the goats with yard games and a goat themed craft! You’ll also get a chance to meet Jake from Regenerative Ruminants, who specializes in this alternative land management style. Why goats? Opportunistic plant species become a problem without natural ecological controls such as fire, wildlife, and native plant competition.
