Create unique portraits using nature's palette as inspiration! In this class, students will learn how to use watercolor to paint the portrait of a head and create, simple vibrant compositions. Using seasonal colors, we will learn how to layout our paintings, compose a face, and use color as collage for backgrounds. This class is meant to encourage a free-flow style that helps the student relax into the creative process. Students will need to bring their own examples of inspiration: photos and seasonal items are welcome! All other materials will be provided for the class. No previous watercolor experience necessary.
