Everyone is invited to partake in some Halloween fun at the St. Francois State Park campground! 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM Costume Contest at the Campground Amphitheater 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM Trick or Treating 8:00 PM Best Decorated Campsite Awarded The costume contest photo booth will run from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the campground amphitheater stage. Stop by to have your picture taken to be entered into the contest. There will be five categories: 0-3 years old, 4-7 years old, 8-12 years old, 13+ years old and best group costume. Please keep costumes family-friendly. Winners will be announced and prizes delivered to the winner's campsite. If a winner is not camping with us, they will be notified by phone. Trick-or-treating is open to the general public and will take place in the park campground from 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m. No driving through the campground during trick-or-treat hours. Participating campsites will be given a Halloween Placard to post at time of registration. Campers are responsible for providing the candy for trick-or-treaters. Registered campers may participate in a Halloween-themed campsite decorating contest. Campsites will be judged during the trick or treating. Awards for best decorated sites will be given at 8 p.m.
