Get hooked on fishing! Meet us at the fishing pier behind the Rec Center at Powderhorn Park to practice your fishing skills or learn how to cast for the first time. We will have rods and bait available for loan or bring your own! All ages welcome. This is a drop-in program. No license needed!Questions? All fishing equipment and bait will be provided. Event is weather dependent and will be cancelled in event of rainAccessibility: Accessibility at Powderhorn Park:Portable restrooms and water fountains located outside the rec center and additional restrooms and water fountains located indoors. Dedicated handicap parking available. Trails are paved and mostly flat, with slight slopes at entry points. Trails are maintained year-round and are usually suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. The rec center is a <0.1 mile walk from the parking lot.The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is committed to providing access to these events for all participants.
