Join us for an intimate journey through Carole King's timeless hits with live music, stories, and a sprinkle of magic. Carole King is up there with Paul Simon and Paul McCartney for having crafted piles of classic songs still revered and covered today. Jen Comeau (last seen on the Mid-Week Music stage for a John Denver show in November 2024) will be playing with host Dana Pearson and percussionist Hal Hannaford; the first set will comprise tunes King wrote (many with former husband Gerry Goffin) in the 1960s for other artists (“One Fine Day,” “Up on the Roof,” “The Loco-Motion”), while the second set will be the entirety of her classic 1971 album Tapestry (“I Feel the Earth Move,” “It’s Too Late”).
