Pokémon Adventures - Play & Collect! [Pokémon TCG]

Calling all Pokémon Trainers! Let's go on an adventure together in 2025! Join fellow players (called Pokémon Trainers) for a weekly opportunity play your favorite card game, Pokémon TCG! In January 2025 we are applying to become an official Play! Pokémon store. When approved, this will give us access to fun new opportunities to host leagues, tournaments, and special events for interested Pokémon TCG players and trainers. ACG will grow the community of players by offering recurring learn to play opportunities, and by creating fun and interesting challenges for Pokémon players to engage with one another while playing games and having fun. Here's what's coming in 2025: 1. Pokémon trainers will receive a monthly Play! card that includes a series of challenges players can achieve by playing the Pokémon TCG battles (games) together. These cards will be structured similar to BINGO cards, and when a trainer completes 5 objectives in a line they will receive the next prize on their card. Players may achieve 3 objectives per week, keeping the anticipation and excitement high! 2. ACG will offer Learn to Play opportunities for Pokémon TCG weekly, from 10:30 to 11:00 AM as part of this event. During that time we will invite new players to learn the basic Pokémon TCG rules, and what makes this game so much fun! While learning to play, new trainers can use one of several Pokémon decks available in-store. No immediate purchase is necessary. ACG also intends to actively keep low-cost entry level decks available for new players, so that stepping into the game and joining the community is easier than ever before! 3. ACG will offer occasionally offer side events related to Pokémon for trainers looking for new experiences with their favorite critters! Things like Pokémon Chess, painting Pokémon figures, Pokémon coloring pages, and maybe even trying to organize some Pokémon video games could all be things we look to offer from time to time. Our goal is to host an event with at least 20 Pokémon trainers in attendance by the end of March 2025! This event is graciously sponsored by local Bemidji Domino's, who weekly provides delicious pizza for our Pokémon trainers in attendance.
