Each monthly series we practice a different breathing technique, movement sequence (physical postures/asana), and meditation or relaxation technique. This is a beginner-friendly series that focuses on creating a felt sense of groundedness and centeredness in the body. This practice uses the breath in conscious, intentional ways to soothe the nervous system, allowing us to enter a state of rest and relaxation. One is given the option to link their breath with their physical movement throughout some of the sequence. Throughout other parts of the sequence, one is invited to be in the forms in more stillness. A state of presence is welcomed to be explored through both the stillness and the movement.
